Sara Morse
AssociateSara Morse is an experienced litigator focused on commercial litigation and white-collar defense. She represents corporate and individual clients in all stages of civil litigation—from case initiation through trial—as well as in criminal matters and internal investigations.
Her practice spans complex commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and government investigations in state and federal courts. She has represented a leading China-based global technology company in trade secret litigation in the Northern District of California and a global energy company in New York state court in fraud and tortious interference claims arising from a power plant construction project.
Sara regularly advises clients in sensitive, government-facing matters. Her experience includes representing an audit firm in an SEC investigation involving a public company’s restatements and material weakness determinations, as well as representing companies and individuals in DOJ investigations related to healthcare fraud and False Claims Act issues involving Medi-Cal and Medicare claims.
She is known for her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and for guiding clients through high-pressure disputes with clear communication and practical guidance.
Sara also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on underserved and incarcerated individuals. Her work includes representing individuals in federal tax fraud sentencing proceedings, assisting federal inmates with Federal Bureau of Prisons grievance filings, and advocating for California life-term inmates in parole suitability and resentencing hearings.
